At this CECC Roundtable, award-winning HIV/AIDS activist Dr. Gao Yaojie will give a first-hand account of her work in HIV/AIDS education, prevention, and treatment in Henan province, the epicenter of the 1990s HIV/AIDS epidemic in China. Dr. Gao has faced continual harassment for her work and has fled to the United States where she is seeking refuge.
