"2012" Style Taphrogeny Left Over A Hundred People Homeless

3, Dec. A taphrogeny happened in Guoguang Village, Hengshan City of Hunan Province. With ground surface subsidence of about 1.5m in one week, over 30 families were left homeless. Those who were affected by the taphrogeny have been settled down properly.

This taphrogeny is caused by the digging work of several gypsum mining plants in Ginkgo Town. The underground has been gradually emptied. Hundreds of acres of fertile farmland were damaged in this incident.
